the cd player is working again! About a day later though its back to doing the same thing, will not turn when a cd is on it but will turn when no cd is on it. There was an 05-05 error, which basically means the mech board is not reading the magazine rack (probably out of alignment). The cd will turn when there is no cd in it! I dont know if replacing that transistor had anything to do with this.

Anyways I crossed my fingers, replaced the transister and now the #2 and #6 are working!! Shortly thereafter when the cd is put on the cd pro (the cd player itself) it wont turn.

I found a transistor from a circuit board out of a coin-operated dryer assembly. The lighting moves with the music and the outside rim lighting is like a lightning bolt. You can load 100 CD's or it will hook up to the internet. The dye used in the blank CD's to produce them caused lots of read errors in the late 90's early 2000's. Just the other day I bought several brand new CD's (Walmart and Best Buy), sealed, fairly new releases. Prior to that, some AC/DC titles would not play 9 out of 10 times, afterwards it was more like 5 out of 10.
So I did that and it worked better, not perfect but better. I found an eBay listing where you send your CD transport to this guy and he'll fix that problem, for I believe around $90. This started several years ago and it had gotten worse. I am listing them in order of priority which I would like to have them fixed.ġ. I have owned a Rowe AMI 100-C for several years now and several issues have surfaced since.
